Ground Level
Crossing the Bridge
Aidan was a little nervous. Video taken of our trek through the bamboo!
Cute Bench
Afterwards we headed to "Peacock in the Desert: the Royal Art of Jodhpur." This was full of gorgeous horse and elephant dressings, turbans, canopies, clothing, armor, etc. It was as if we were seeing the real-life Aladdin props.
Maharaja's Plane and Car
Walking over to the other building to see all things digital.
Part of the new permanent digital exhibit. Very cool!
Finally we went through the "Joris Laarman Lab: Design in the Digital Age" which had all types of furniture that had been printed by robots. 3D printing on overload with any material imaginable. Allison said that someday all of our furniture will be made this way. She especially found this exhibit fascinating.
Two versions of the same table with fewer pixels.
A really neat couch
The background depicts the types of robots used to produce the furniture.
So long for today MFAH!
What a fun few hours with these two. We headed to Nippon for some bento boxes before heading home to get ready for a Houston Dash game.
