Renaissance Revival

Make way for the queen! Allison made a regal Queen Elizabeth I tonight. She was part of the living museum and spoke in front of a few hundred audience members. We could not have been more proud of her. She spoke clearly, at the perfect speed, and even told a cute joke. Way to go girl!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Gobble Gobble -

We headed to Portland for Thanksgiving. This year was a little somber due to the fact that we just lost Memere. She lived a long life and had such a positive impact as a teacher in her career. At her services many of her former students came to either serve as pallbearers or to simply pay their respects.

We did eat quite a bit of delicious food, and we have a fun trip to the Texas State Aquarium. They have added on a new section, and it is truly remarkable.

Grandparents Day

Today was Grandparents Day at Grace School, and Omie and Papa Fred came to learn all about third and sixth grades. They first went to chapel with Allison and Aidan and then to the classrooms.

Texas Renaissance Festival

Each year we take the sixth graders to the Texas Renaissance Festival, and this year was Allison's turn. She was in my little group, and we did so much.
