Rodeo Time

We are heading into Rodeo season here in Houston, and the kids have reminded me once again that they have never attended a real rodeo. Katy has a much smaller version where you do not have to battle as many crowds, park a million miles away, and it just feels more family-friendly.

We went with Omie and Papa Fred, and the kids saw bull riding, calf roping, barrel racing, and of course went to the carnival. It was great! Omie and Papa Fred used to go to rodeos all the time before Ryan and I came along, so it was a throw back for them that was really fun.

Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's parties all around! So glad I could go during my conference period. There are some things that I have to miss, but when parties fall at the end of the day it works out very nicely.

Basketball Season

What a great basketball season! Tyler coached Aidan's 1st grade boys team, and Allison played with all of her friends from school.

Tyler's team made so much improvement over the season. It really was like herding cats. The boys were adorable though, and I know they had a blast. Tyler is such a good coach. I love seeing him with the kids.

100th Day of School

Aidan chose a monster with 100 eyes for his 100th day of school shirt. Very creative!
