Grace Lower School Christmas Program

This Mom is having a tough time with the "lasts". Tonight was Allison and Aidan's last Lower School Christmas program together. They looked completely adorable and performed so well.

Wait, what? No he isn't. There is no way my sweet baby boy is eight years old. Where has the time gone!?!

Aidan continues to have one of the biggest hearts around. He loves his family unconditionally, is a great friend to all of his classmates, and always acts with others in mind. His teacher calls him her "saving grace" in class that is rather active. (He also still has some of the best dance moves around!)

On December 4th we held his ninja party at Biron's Ninja Zone. It was a great party! These boys had such a blast. Allison and Meredith really enjoyed it also as the only two girls allowed!

For Aidan's actual birthday dinner we told him to choose any restaurant in all of Houston. He chose Taco Cabana for their super nachos. We cracked up but loved the price tag!

The fifth grade class had Colonial Day where they dressed up and ate traditional food from the Colonial days. I made johnny cakes, and man were they bland! They are essentially a cornmeal pancake.

Omie and Papa Fred came to Grace School for Grandparent's Day again this year. We are so glad they are able to come to so many school functions. It really does make it special.

Allison's First TnT Meet

Allison participated in her very first trampoline and tumbling gymnastics meet, and she did such a great job!

She has had to put in much more time at the gym this school year since making the decision to be on the TnT team. We were so proud of her for really shaking off any nerves and performing her absolute best. She has such mental control, and it is going to serve her well the rest of her life in whatever she chooses to pursue. Way to go sweetie!!!
